Dr. Brian Han practices dentistry with a strong emphasis on patient well-being. After graduating at the top of his class from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry, Dr. Han moved to Alaska to serve the under-served. During his four-year stay in Alaska, he has treated thousands of patients through his office and volunteer services. This invaluable experience not only allowed him to gain insight in treating patients that come from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds but exposed him to patients needing complex and challenging procedures along with regular checkups and routine cleanings. Dr. Han continues to hone his skills and stays up to date on the latest in the dental field. He provides all aspects of general dentistry, including complex surgical procedures. His advanced training in IV sedation and advanced airway management allows him to offer different sedation options to achieve the best result in the most comfortable setting for his patients.

Dr. Han’s team utilizes advanced equipment and techniques to diagnose and plan treatment for complex cases, and he collaborates with in-house specialists to provide comprehensive care in a comfortable and professional environment.

Dr. Han is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the American Dental Association®.

Educational/Professional Background:

I graduated high school in South Korea and moved to Washington state soon after. Attending Bellevue College and the University of Washington, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Biology and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Why you chose the field of dentistry:

Even before I knew I wanted to be a dentist, I knew that I loved working with people and wanted to contribute positively to our society. I fell in love with dentistry because dentistry is the perfect healthcare professional that fulfills these aspects. I love cooperating with my colleagues and staff as a team working towards the same goal and actively promoting the oral health of my community.

Family Information: Only child, parents live in South Korea.

Hobbies or volunteer services:

I actively participated volunteering at UW fear dental clinic and other outreach programs for many years to learn and serve diverse patient populations. I also participated in elderly projects at UW school of dentistry as a student project assistant to educate and promote oral health care, mostly for Korean and Hispanic elderly populations.

When I’m not in the office, I like to go jogging and hiking and enjoy spending my personal time cafe hopping and studying interests other than dentistry.

How many/what kind of pets do you have? 

I have a black, chubby cat and his name is Kuro. Kuro loves eating salmon flavored treats and playing with fishing pole toys.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Bellevue College and her Doctor of Dental surgery degree in University of Washington School of Dentistry. She has  actively volunteered at UW free dental clinic and attended dental mission trips to give free dental care to those in need. On her time off she enjoys jogging, hiking and spending time with her cat, Kuro.

Dr. Bui was born in Maryland and raised in Marysville, WA. From a young age, he developed a strong interest in science and health, which led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at the University of Washington in Seattle. His passion for understanding the human body deepened, inspiring him to continue his education at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

Dentistry became a natural choice for Dr. Bui, merging his scientific interests with the ability to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. He takes great satisfaction in helping his patients achieve happy, healthier smiles.

Dr. Bui enjoys staying updated with the latest technology in his free time, watching anime, weightlifting, fishing, and hiking. These activities help him maintain a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle outside of his professional commitments.

Background: I was born in Maryland, but grew up in Marysville, WA.

Hobbies or volunteer service: I enjoy keeping up with the latest technology, watching anime, weightlifting, fishing, and hiking.

Why did you choose the field of dentistry?

I love working with people and want to help out people to enhance their quality of lives. Dentistry is like an artistic field in healthcare where I can provide a better smile to my patients.

Hobbies or volunteer service:

I enjoy watching movies, drawing/painting, and also hiking!

Dr. Yoo was born in Seattle, WA but was raised in South Korea until she moved to Michigan to attend college. She recently moved back to the PNW after graduating from a competitive dental school in the Midwest and is excited for my next chapter here in Washington State.  

As someone who experienced firsthand the challenges of accessing quality dental care and the crucial role that education plays in maintaining oral health, Dr. Yoo became passionate about not only helping others achieve healthy smiles but also ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has access to the information and care they need. To do so, she always tries to find ways to further my education to provide the best care possible to my patients.

She welcomes new patients and is dedicated to treating each one with passion and care, ensuring they receive the best possible dental experience.

In my free time, Dr. Yoo enjoys traveling, playing volleyball and hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
