Dr. David Joung graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BA in Biology and received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also completed advanced residency training.
Even at a young age, Dr. Joung saw the importance of oral health and how it betters the lives of others. He knew that no matter the profession, he wanted to improve the lives of the people he encountered.
His early exposure to dental mission trips inspired him to pursue dentistry as a means of positively impacting patients’ lives. Dr. Joung is widely praised for his professional yet approachable style, carefully ensuring his patients understand and are comfortable throughout their treatment. He offers a full range of general dental services, including intricate surgical procedures, and general dental care such as root canals, and extractions.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Joung enjoys reading, golfing, hiking, and spending time with his dogs, Chester and Panda. He remains an enthusiastic Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
