Education and Training
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where I also completed certificates in 2D and 3D Art Studio. I later earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Awards and Honors
I graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and was recognized on the Dean’s Honor List throughout my undergraduate and dental school education.
Why I Chose Dentistry
My love for both art and science naturally led me to dentistry. Growing up, I enjoyed painting, sculpting, and competing in 3D art competitions, so I knew I wanted a career where I could work with my hands while helping others. A high school mentorship program gave me the opportunity to shadow a dentist and confirmed that dentistry was the right path for me. I love that my career allows me to combine creativity, precision, science, and meaningful connections with my patients. I truly can’t imagine a career more perfect for me.
Hobbies and Volunteer Service
During dental school, I participated in community outreach through the Student National Dental Association (SNDA). I continue to volunteer with programs such as Give Kids A Smile and Special Olympics, helping provide oral health education and care to children, families, and underserved communities. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy painting and sculpting, spending time outdoors with my loved ones, and traveling to experience new places and cultures.
A Little More About Me
I am fluent in Thai, and growing up, I often helped translate for my mom. That experience taught me the importance of explaining things in a clear and simple way and making sure people feel comfortable asking questions. I believe trust is the foundation of a strong patient-doctor relationship, and I strive to build that trust through open communication, attention to detail, and a personalized approach. My goal is to build lasting relationships with my patients so that every person feels heard, comfortable, and confident in their care, with treatment tailored to their individual needs.
